Communicate has moved!

We are part of the new Walkergate Park
International Centre for NeuroRehabiltation and NeuroPsychiatry

Communicate is a specialist NHS Electronic Assistive Technology (EAT) service for the North of England.  We have been providing expert communication aid services since 1983.

We are a small team of expert health professionals and volunteers, supported by Bioengineering staff from the Regional Medical Physics Technical Aid Service.

How can we help?
  • We match abilities and environment with technology, to improve communication and increase independence
  • We help to build better "total communication" systems using communication aids or "AAC" - Augmentative and Alternative Communication
