CAVS Volunteers

  • Are recruited and trained by the CAVS Co-ordinator - a Speech & Language Therapist who is an expert in communication aids
  • Offer communication aid users a special partnership
  • Help communication aid users to improve their communication skills
  • Help communication aid users to gain confidence
  • Like to meet new people
  • Are interested in communication aids and communication aid users
  • Are supervised by the local Speech and Language Therapist
  • Are supported by the CAVS Co-ordinator
